Universal screening is conducted multiple times per year with all students.
Screening data can be used to guide adjustments to tier 1 instruction to ensure that it meets the majority of students’ needs and to identify which students require follow up diagnostic assessment to inform intervention.
Training on universal screening is available through online learning courses and the resource library.

One of our partner districts, Lyndhurst, recently presented about the successes they had when staff were given clear guidelines and transparency.
